Centro de Visitantes Juego de Bolas

The Juego de Bolas Visitor Center is a museum-interpretation center linked to the Garajonay National Park, located in the municipality of Agulo (La Gomera, Canary Islands), in the surroundings of La Palmita/Juego de Bolas and at the coordinates provided. Its main function is to provide information to visitors about the park, the insular nature and the traditional culture of La Gomera, acting as an access point to routes, brochures and informative content about the protected area. The sources consulted do not document a date of construction or foundation of the building or a specific architectural style, so it should be described as a contemporary tourist-cultural facility. It does have exhibition rooms dedicated to the nature and culture of the island, a craft workshop or workshops, a projection room and a garden with native Canary flora. The center is directly related to the dissemination of the Garajonay National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its laurel forest, and is presented as an infrastructure to support visits to the natural area.
