Camino de Sa Figuera

The Camino de Sa Figuera is a short, cobbled route in Fornalutx, in the Serra de Tramuntana, a Mediterranean mountain environment of great scenic value in the northwest of Mallorca. The itinerary runs through traditional terraces, olive groves and dry farming areas, in a very characteristic landscape of the region and linked to the network of historical roads of the municipality. The most visible features along the route are the open views over the mountains, the stone and agricultural walls, and the rural atmosphere that links Fornalutx with its immediate surroundings. It is a walk especially appreciated for its scenic interest and for the reading of the territory: a traditional path that allows us to understand how this hillside has been occupied and worked for centuries.
