Description

The Aula Amigo Lobo is a museum or exhibition space located in Poza de la Sal, in the province of Burgos, Castilla y León, with coordinates 42.66711, -3.50149. It is dedicated to the Iberian wolf and the figure of Carlos Sanz, a popularizer and collaborator in the programs of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, which links it directly to the naturalist tradition of the town. Because of its content, it is better framed as a museum center for the interpretation of fauna and environmental education, rather than as a historical-artistic museum. The available information does not specify a date of foundation or a construction period, so it cannot be attributed a century of origin or a specific architectural style without risk of error. Its patrimonial interest is mainly didactic and ethnographic, as it reinforces the local identity of Poza de la Sal as a place associated with nature, scientific dissemination and the memory of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente. The locality is also part of the historical landscape of the salt flats and the traditional center of the town, although this context corresponds to the environment of the resource and not to the classroom itself.
